2018 | VMLY&R Rogers, where I interned Summer 2018, focuses its efforts on digital, enterprise, and ecommerce work. In 2018 The Hershey Company hired VMLY&R, contracting us to lay out several PDPs (Product Display Pages) for use in ecommerce for Amazon and Walmart.com.

The following are examples of ad units and elements laid out by myself and the rest of the Hershey’s VML team. Brands include Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar, Hershey’s Cookie-Layer Crunch, Hershey’s Multibrand Packs and Krave Jerky. Assets for these units were provided, for the most part, by The Hershey Company. Where they were not, I worked with branding and style guides to create something that would appropriately fit with each brand.

As part of this package, VMLY&R signed on to create a Retail Platform Overview and Style Guide, highlighting correct practices and strategies in ecommerce. One of my responsibilities as an intern was to support the VMLY&R Hershey team working alongside other staffed designers to address client requests and meet tight-turn deadlines in creating this digital document.
